About Us

Texas Freedom RV Park is a small quaint RV park with lots of charm and Texas sized yard space for most pads. We are a self-serve park with easy on and easy off access to 59. Nestled among two cornfields and a chicken coop directly on 59, we are happy to offer that comfortable country atmosphere that some city dwellers are reaching out for. The days are filled with sunshine and beautiful birds, and the nights are busting with wondrous stars filling the night sky.Located in Hillje, TX, we are minutes away from El Campo, TX where you will find an HEB, Walmart, AutoZone, Walgreens and our beloved Whataburger. If you’ve already gotten back to the park and realized you forgot something, thankfully, Prasek Smokehouse is 1 mile up the road where you can gas up and get your baked goods, prepared meats to throw on the grill, adult beverages, sodas, and many other drugstore and toiletry items. Also, their barbecue sandwiches are pretty good.Sites include: 20/30/50 amp, sewer, water. Each pad can fit up to 2 vehicles. Shower/bathhouse is not available.

RV site with 60 foot x 40 foot pad with large RV front yards. Space for 2 vehicles. 20/30/50 amp, water, sewer. Double slide out permitted, Pet Friendly.

Beautiful spaces, nice trees, little laundry facility, very handy, wonderful neighbors, clean safe park. Very quiet here. More of an adult park as there isn't anything for little ones to do. Really like the park it's perfect for our 32foot travel trailer. Awesome manager, overall a gem we called home for a couple of months.

Quiet, peaceful RV park surrounded by tall trees & with a variety of birds singing. Full hookups. Sites are gravel which are large enough to accommodate our 38 ft Class A motorhome plus our tow vehicle. We stayed for a week while visiting our daughter & really enjoyed our stay. Triangle RV Park is conveniently located with stores & restaurants close by. The park is dog/pet friendly. We really appreciated the dog stations which were always stocked with waste bags. The park is very clean as is the laundry room. We were comfortable & felt safe. We will definitely be back next time that we are in Durham.

Great RV Park. We stayed for medical services at Duke. Very clean and quiet. Reasonable rates. Caretakers keep laudry area clean and decorated for all holidays. Which I loved and appreciated. Very close to hospital and there is shopping any way you go. Great parks with walking trails. Will definitely stay there with any long stays.

We needed a place where we could be close to Duke Children’s Hospital. Twelve-year-old grandson having heart surgery. What we found was an oasis of kindness and understanding during one of the most stressful times in our lives. Everything turned out great at Duke, and we found a place just near the city that easily accommodated our Class A rig with car. Best advice, fill out the registration online and tell them when and why. They were most helpful and understanding. Very quiet and respectful. A very rare find in a convenient location for medical, groceries, restaurants and I-40. We are thankful.
